This Privacy Policy explains how SlabaDash collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information when you use the app. It applies to information you provide directly, information created when you use the product, and information received from connected services that you choose to link.

SlabaDash is designed to help you import, organize, and understand personal financial data. Because the product can process transaction history and imported statements, we aim to keep data use limited to what is needed to operate the service.

We may collect account details such as your email address and authentication data needed to create and secure your account.

We may collect financial information that you upload or import, including transaction descriptions, dates, amounts, categories, statement files, and related metadata needed to process those imports.

If you connect Google Drive, we access your Google account name and email, the folder you select, file names and metadata in that folder, and the contents of supported statement files in that folder.

We may also collect basic technical information such as device, browser, log, and usage data to keep the app reliable, secure, and performant.

We use personal information to provide the core service, including authenticating your account, importing statements, processing transactions, organizing categories, and displaying your dashboard.

We may use information to maintain security, prevent abuse, fix bugs, and support users. We do not use Google user data for advertising, credit decisions, or to train general-purpose AI models.

Google Drive access is optional. After you select one folder, SlabaDash checks that folder each hour for supported CSV and PDF bank statements, downloads new or changed files for processing, and imports the resulting transactions. SlabaDash does not search outside the selected folder.

We store an encrypted Google refresh token, the selected folder ID and name, file metadata and import results so scheduled sync can work. Statement file contents are processed in memory and are not retained after the import; imported transactions remain in your SlabaDash account.

Google user data is not sold or used for advertising. It is shared only with infrastructure providers that host and operate SlabaDash, or when required by law or needed to protect the service.

SlabaDash's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We may share information with infrastructure and software providers that help us host the app, store data, authenticate users, and run background jobs. Those providers are expected to handle data only as needed to provide their services to SlabaDash.

We may also disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect users, the service, or our rights.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Backups and security logs may persist for a limited period.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect personal information. No system can promise absolute security, so you should also protect your login credentials and connected accounts.

You can disconnect Google Drive at any time. Disconnecting revokes SlabaDash access and deletes the stored refresh token, selected-folder configuration, and Drive sync history. Transactions already imported remain until you delete them or request account deletion.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date on this page. Continued use of the service after changes become effective means the updated policy will apply.
